**Job Description**:
The sales team at Bilue are responsible for seeking and winning work that will drive Bilue’s growth, excite our people and create powerful impact at scale. We have a ‘land and expand’ strategy, which allows us to work alongside our clients as a trusted partner and service provider, upselling and cross selling engagements over time.

Sitting within the sales team, Bilue’s Account Manager plays a vital role by serving as the primary point of contact for clients, managing the relationship, and ensuring that client needs are met. The Account Manager's ability to understand and anticipate the needs of their clients and to effectively communicate with them is critical to the success of Bilue’s business.
They possess a combination of strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail, ensuring client satisfaction and account growth. Ultimately, the Account Manager is a key player in driving revenue growth and maintaining customer loyalty.
**_Responsibilities:_**
**Building and maintaining relationships with clients**
The Account Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met, and identifying opportunities for Bilue to add value thereby driving expansion and incremental revenue growth.
**Managing client accounts**
This includes acting as the primary point of contact for an account, overseeing the successful delivery of services, ensuring that the client's expectations are met, and addressing any issues that arise. They seek opportunities to update and understand our clients’ business goals and future direction. The account manager liaises with our consultants on the ground in our engagements, to gather account related successes, blockers and issues as well as any relevant information to further manage and/or expand the account.
**Developing account plans**
The account manager develops account plans that outline strategies for growing the business with each client, including the status of key relationships within the account, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. They proactively reach out and seek introductions to build out their network of relationships within the client organisation
**Conducting market research**
The Account Manager is responsible for understanding the market and industry trends that may impact their clients, providing insights that help clients make informed decisions. They engage with in-house experts to understand Bilue’s capabilities and stay abreast of technology and design innovations in the market.
**Reporting and analysis**
The Account Manager monitors and manages account budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets. They prepare and deliver regular progress reports, account reviews, and performance metrics to clients as needed. They ensure that client information, as well as the data for each opportunity, is maintained in a timely manner in Bilue’s CRM system to reflect the current status, so as to enable effective sales reviews and information sharing with the wider team at Bilue.
**Financial management**
The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that invoices are raised in accordance with commercial agreements in place and work completed for a client. They work with the Operations team and the client to ensure timely payment of invoices.
