**The Role**
In your role as Account Manager, your key focus is going to be on the management of your own portfolio of clients in the Commercial Insurance team.
The role of Account Manager is diverse, but here’s a few of the key “day to day” responsibilities below:
- Manage a portfolio of SME, Mid-Market with some Corporate Accounts - accountability for servicing, developing, and maintaining the client portfolio
- Provide advice and placement across multiple products including but not limited to SME Packages
- Consisting of Property, Liability, Commercial Motor, Fleet, Financial Lines, and Retail Products
- Responding to inquiries from clients, insurers, and other relevant parties
- Ensuring correspondence and reports are accurate, compliant, and prepared in accordance with internal procedures
- Documentation production
- Invoicing and Debtor management
To succeed in this role, you will have 3+ years of experience as an Account Manager or Account Broker in commercial insurance as well as:
- Excellent product knowledge of relevant insurance products
- High degree of organisational skills, ability to multi-task, learn quickly and be proactive
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Advanced administration skills and experience working with Microsoft Office
- Tier 1 qualification
