**Project Officer, Licensing**:
**Location: Attwood**

**Salary: $91,418 to $103,725 + super.**

**Position No: 021328**

Please note: Due to Machinery of Government changes under Section 30 of the Public Administration Act (PAA), effective 1 January 2023, your employment will be with the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action. Corporate Services, including payroll, will be provided by the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions while a process for the formal transfer of staff in impacted areas is implemented.

The Project Officer, Licensing will provide support for two functions within the Agriculture Regulatory Assurance unit in Animal Welfare Victoria.

The key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Provide timely and accurate advice to licence applicants, stakeholders and the department on the legislative aspects of the use of animals in research and teaching. Ensure that reliable systems are in place to allow the team to track and respond to internal and external enquiries.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including permit and licence holders, peak bodies and relevant scientific experts.

**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Experience in a regulatory environment would be well regarded.

**This is an ongoing, part time 0.6 x FTE position. The work location for this position is Attwood with hybrid work arrangements available.**
