About the opportunity
You will provide expert technical advice and consulting skills on greenfield, urban infill and infrastructure projects and oversea cadastral surveys for developers, authorities and the public sector

You will:

  • Identify new business opportunities, act as the client interface and bid for projects
  • Liaise with contractors, clients, landowners, local authorities and both internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct field components of cadastral surveys occasionally, with a strong focus on client relationships, signing plans and managing submissions of survey documents and plans
  • Build strong relationships with key clients becoming a trusted advisor
  • Work autonomously in projects delivering the clients' brief within time and budget
  • Responsible for projects are carried out to clients' brief within time and budget
  • Mentor, train and supervise other surveyors and provide guidance to develop individuals who embark on a Professional Training Agreement.

About you
You are passionate about the work you do and the important role you play in helping our communities grow

You'll demonstrate:

  • A degree in Surveying and 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Surveyor
  • Strong working knowledge of cadastral surveys and legislation, managing projects and subdivisional processes
  • Excellent consulting skills and strong passion for delivering for clients
  • The ability to guide and develop others in a range of survey related technologies and software (desirable)
  • A selfstarter with a high level of initiative
  • Consultative and approachable with good communication skills
