They work with some of the best architects, designers, and builders in Australia, with beautiful award-winning showrooms unlike any other. This company has a dynamic and positive team and is on a mission to redefine the expectations of a luxury brand in the architectural and design product space, and have exciting plans on the horizon.

Now, they are searching for an exceptional State Sales Manager to join the Melbourne team and lead the charge in delivering excellence.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We need a driven individual who is passionate about architecture and design and can lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.

As the State Sales Manager, you will work closely with the GM Sales to create the annual strategic sales plan for your state and then own the implementation of the strategy during its operational period.

Developing and retaining a high-performance local team will be crucial. Your team should have the skills and support necessary to deliver a luxury end-to-end experience for our clients while maintaining key relationships in the market and achieving our sales targets.

We put an emphasis on developing genuine and long-term relationships with our clients. Understanding our product inside out, you will be able to advise clients on options, ensuring they feel educated and confident in choosing our premium product.

Your role will be to empower the BDMs to achieve individual sales budgets through effective leadership, skills development, and setting clear goals and accountabilities.

**$120k - $140k + Car or car allowance + incentives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide quality leadership to the team to ensure they are skilled, motivated, and trained to operate as a high-performance sales team.

Manage the state P&L to ensure we achieve/exceed budget targets and manage costs in line with agreed budgets.

Ensure the team delivers a luxury end-to-end experience for our clients and industry partners, making them feel valued and aligned with our brand.

Build relationships with key luxury residential architects and designers.

Monitor the pipeline of projects/opportunities and secure product specifications.

Represent our company at networking and industry functions to develop key relationships and promote our brand.

Track and manage all client activity and projects in our CRM.

Work towards personal and team sales targets and goals.

Act as the key point of liaison with procurement, finance, and our warehouse to ensure a positive client experience and efficient sales process.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Excellent established sales leadership skills.

Well-presented with a commitment to providing first-class customer service and developing relationships.

Passion for architecture, interiors, and design.

Internally motivated to achieve and exceed sales and service targets and goals.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Strong time management, administration, and organizational skills.

Likes working in a small team towards a goal while playing an important role in a greater company.
