State Sales Manager - VIC | Lead a team of 5 staff | Sales into primary industries | Global Manufacturer

**Your new company**

Is a privately owned global manufacturer of instrumentation equipment who sell their range of products and services to primary industries, which in Victoria focus on Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Energy & Power, Water and Waste Water sites.

Their range includes gauges, sensors, switches and seals are used in the testing pressure, level, temperature, force and flow of critical processes that link directly into Industrial Automation used in manufacturing facilities and plants.
**Your new role**

Will be the lead the Victorian Sales business, a team of 5 with 3 x Area Sales Managers and 2 x Internal Sales Engineers.

Your remit will be to develop and implement successful sales strategies to maximise sales revenue, profitability, market share and business reputation in the Victorian market.
**What you'll need to succeed**

Previous experience in a technical B2B sales landscape. Mechanical Engineering backgrounds would be beneficial, but work experience as Instrumentation Technicians or Fitters is equally of interest, as is any transferable experience in any product and service aligned to Industrial Automation or mechanical engineered products ranging from pumps, valves, seals, gaskets, etc.

Previous managerial experience would be preferred, however the business is also open to considering strong Business Development Managers / Area Sales Managers ready to step into the state management role, if you can show the soft skills and attitude to step into management, have lead major accounts and perhaps have indirect line reports or mentoring experience of staff.
