**Sales Events Manager - Expanding Hospitality Group**

**Melbourne CBD**

Seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Event Sales Manager to join an expanding team. You will play a crucial role in increasing sales and revenue through the successful planning and execution of events and driving new business to the venues. This position requires a deep understanding of the events industry and a real drive and passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

**Role & Responsibilites**
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to maximise event bookings and revenue
- Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities, targeting corporate clients, associations and other potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Build a database of potential clients and develop a strategy to generate bookings and events
- Conduct thorough research and market analysis to identify emerging trends and competitive insights, adapting sales strategies accordingly
- Create and manage a sales pipeline for inbound and outbound sales
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotions to drive sales
- Conduct site visits, events and tours to showcase event spaces to potential clients
- Conceptualise and build out in-house events to drive business and revenue growth
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution
- Book and coordinate external suppliers
- Create bespoke packages and make recommendations based on the clients needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the whole event planning process
- Attend key client events and be on the ground to run key events
- Monitor and analyse sales performance preparing regular reports and forecasts for management

**About you**
- Proven event sales expertise with a deep understanding of the industry.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans for maximising event bookings and revenue.
- Proficient in market analysis and adapting sales strategies to market dynamics.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively.
- Proficiency in monitoring and analysing sales performance and preparing reports for management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills for handling multiple events and tasks.
- Experience working across multiple event/booking platforms
