Public Sector People are working with a local council in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne to recruit a Operations Administration Officer for a temporary position for a January 3rd start.

The successful applicant will work to provide administrative support to the Works Services and Operations Centre.

**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Act as the first point of call to action Works Service related queries.
- Arrange for the processing and payment of accounts.
- Running monthly reports for the Coordinator Works Services.
- Carry out other general ad hoc administration.
- Demonstrated administration experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of word & excel
- Local government experience would be advantageous

**Benefits**:

- Start after Christmas on the 3rd of January
- Paying $32.89 per hour + super - flexible depending on experience
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
