Public Sector People are working with a local council in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne to recruit a Operations Administration Officer for a temporary position for a January 3rd start.

The successful applicant will work to provide administrative support to the Works Services and Operations Centre.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Act as the first point of call to action Works Service related queries.
  • Arrange for the processing and payment of accounts.
  • Running monthly reports for the Coordinator Works Services.
  • Carry out other general ad hoc administration.
  • Demonstrated administration experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of word & excel
  • Local government experience would be advantageous
