Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer your role will include:
- Assisting the team to process a fortnightly pay of 7000 employees using Ascender Pay
- Ensure all documentation is complete, such as terminations, new hires, and processing payrolls
- Validate and verify payroll data, checking for accuracy and promptly addressing any discrepancies or issues that arise
- Responding to employee queries
- Prepare payroll reports and assist in generating various payroll-related documents
- Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and suggest process improvements
- Work with cross-functional internal partners to resolve client payroll matters and employee enquiries
- Assist with month and end of year reporting
- Other ad hoc tasks
