Payroll Specialist

We are looking for experienced Payroll professionals to join an existing team for a period of 6 months. This exciting opportunity sees you working withing a team of 4 on a variety of different outcome focused tasks. The primary responsibility will be to work on fortnightly payroll for upwards of 1500 staff.
Your daily tasks will include;
- Fortnightly payroll for up to 1500 employees
- Answer payroll queries
- Experience with Chris 21, SAP, MYOB or PayGlobal
- Weekly, fortnightly and monthly reports
- Complete payroll and financial activities at month and year end
- State government experience is desirable, however not essential
Interested applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role which includes a strong knowledge of current payroll legislation, STP, and redundancy/termination payments. You will have exposure to reporting and analysis and have been through processes in the past. Exposure to one of the above listed payroll systems is essential, as is a keen eye for detail and strong written and verbal communications skills. Immediate Start - 5 days in convenient CBD location.
