**The Business**

In operation for almost 30 years, the business has built a strong track record and a team of high performing individuals. They are a prominent name in the Australian Funds space and have over $1billion AUD across their strategies. Being a boutique, you will work closely with individuals across all business areas and get your hands on a variety of tasks that you may not see in other businesses.

**The Role**

The role will be a hybrid of Business Development & Marketing. Depending on the current needs in any week, you could be focussed on engaging with the Wholesale client space or supporting the business with a variety of marketing needs. On the distribution side, you can expect to be involved in calling and promoting the funds to advisers across the country, locking in meetings to promote the funds, attending conferences to build your network & assisting the wider business with sales strategy.

On the marketing side, you can expect to be involved in a variety of aspects covering promotion of the funds, event organisation, design and development of marketing materials, website management or even designing branded materials to distribute. The role will ebb and flow with the needs at any given time and as such you will have the opportunity to regularly change up what you are doing on a week-to-week basis to keep the role fresh and engaging. To summarise, you will be responsible for:

- Engaging with Financial Advisers through phone calls, presentations & networking
- Promoting the funds in meetings or through materials created
- Organising a variety of events & materials to be used by the wider business
- Assisting and contributing to the ongoing marketing strategy including via video interviewing and podcasting

**The Person**

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a drive and desire to sell. This means having good conversation skills, the ability to ask open ended questions and a desire to engage with new and different people. If you have had some engagement with the Wholesale space or understand the financial adviser market, you will be positioned well to take on this role. An understanding of digital marketing channels (experience not necessary but a willingness to learn). We would love to speak to people who have had:

- At least 2 years of experience in financial services (ideally dealing with Financial Advisers)
- A natural ability to speak to and engage with new people along with a drive to get out and meet people
- High levels of organisational skills where you can manage various tasks and decide which is most important at any time
