**Infrastructure People are partnering with a leading national building and civil construction company. With $1 billion work-in-hand across NSW, WA, and QLD, this company is experiencing remarkable growth.**

**They are actively seeking a Business Development Specialist to join their Head Office to support the ongoing East Coast business expansion and diversification.**

**Your responsibilities might include**:
Reporting to the head of Business Development and Strategy, you will be trusted to identify new business development opportunities through robust and contextual market research and analysis as well as comprehensive and influential reports and presentations.

As a business development lead, you will be responsible for preparing market studies identifying key market trends and opportunities, utilising your extensive market understanding and analysis, as well as delivering competitor analyses and value-adding information to inform strategic planning. Your expertise will help identify the highest potential market and client opportunities and support the leadership team in making informed decisions.

In addition to continually leveraging portfolio capability, this key position will embrace new challenges, drive bid development strategies, and foster sustainable growth. It will also provide you with opportunities to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and collaborate with the national business development team to drive national influence.

**To be considered for the role you will have**:

- 2-3 years working in Business Development position across relevant markets; this could be within construction, transport, energy/resources, defence etc.
- A good understanding of market dynamics and trends
- A strong analytical capability and the ability to articulate opportunities clearly
- Confidence in your communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to build trusted and cooperative relationships with all stakeholders, regardless of their position titles
- Previous experience or exposure to core construction and engineering principles, including infrastructure projects, preferred not essential.
- Relevant qualification or formal training in business development, preferred not essential.
