A Local Government Agency based in Cheltenham requires Service Desk Support Officer

**Your new role**
In this exciting and challenging new role, you will be:
- Providing first point of contact for all staff enquiries and requests and to log, track and resolve or escalate IT issues to the Service Delivery coordinator.
- Following up Staff enquiries (telephone, virtually and in person) using an appropriate method of communication to facilitate prompt query resolution and good customer service.
- Providing support and advice to the Service Delivery Coordinator in relation to End user support matters.
- Developing and maintaining system documentation, including configuration elements and knowledge articles within specified requirements and time frames.
- Maintaining the IT Asset register
- Providing general office administrative support to the team, including but not limited to, procurement of IT equipment, software and/or services
- Contributing to small to medium scale ICT projects, under the guidance of the Service Delivery Coordinator.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in user administration of Active Directory, Azure, M365 and supporting end user devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices and printers.
- Experience in administration of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing Systems in a hybrid working environment.
- Experience working with Windows 10 in a mixed network environment.
- An understanding of Windows Server 2012 and onwards, SCCM/Intune, Citrix and VMWare
