Public Sector People, a leading recruitment agency, is partnering with our esteemed client to find a dedicated Service Desk Support Officer for a 3-month contract. This role offers you the chance to contribute to a team committed to excellence in the public sector.
About the Role:
As a Service Desk Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all staff enquiries and requests. Your primary responsibilities will include logging, tracking, and resolving or escalating IT issues to the Service Delivery Coordinator. You will follow up on staff enquiries through various communication methods to ensure prompt resolution and excellent customer service. Additionally, you will provide support and advice to the Service Delivery Coordinator on end-user support matters.
Job Requirements:
- Provide first point of contact for all staff enquiries and requests, logging, tracking, and resolving or escalating IT issues.
- Follow up on staff enquiries (via telephone, virtually, and in person) using appropriate communication methods to ensure prompt query resolution and excellent customer service.
- Offer support and advice to the Service Delivery Coordinator on end-user support matters.
