Corporate Reception Coordinator

**The Opportunity**:
This role offers a balance of client services, event management, and mentorship, perfect for someone who has thrived in a Reception and Hospitality or Events environment.
Our client is a leading international law firm and they are searching for a switched on Corporate Receptionist Coordinator.
Working in modern and luxurious offices, you would share your time between the Front Desk and back office, liaising with chefs and wait staff, meeting department heads, and with the wider client services team.
No two days are the same, but responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting clients and staff;
- Booking rooms, both on-site and off-site for small and large meetings and events;
- Coordinating weekly team meetings;
- Attending regular Department Head meetings to for a pipeline of events and set up workflows to ensure events move smoothly and are well-resourced with staff;
- Running financial and database reports;
- Providing mentorship to junior kitchen and reception staff;
- Report to and assist the team Manager.
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday with a rotating roster of 8:00am - 14:15pm and 9:15am - 15:30pm. There may be occasional overtime to facilitate after-hours events.

**The Requirements**:
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- A background in corporate front of house as well as hospitality with an understanding of food service or events workflows;
- Experience using Microsoft Office and operating a booking system;
- Polished, warm, and invested in creating a positive team culture;
- Able to facilitate events and trouble-shoot potential tension points in terms of resources;
- Strong communication skills and sense of professionalism with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients;
- A quick decision maker, able to find solutions;
- Strong understanding of office policies and procedures.
