The Employee Relations Team Lead role is an integral member of a high performing Corporate Services People & Culture function and will lead a team in the provision of specialist Employee Relations advice to stakeholders, across a complex, multisite organization.

**The Role**
Working in a supportive, close knit and collaborative team and reporting to the Manager of Employee Relations, this role has a broad remit. You will lead and mentor a team of ER specialists, provide insightful advice, support strategy and policy development, coordinate ER projects, represent the organization with relevant external bodies and support end to end enterprise bargaining processes.

Key areas of focus will include
- **Strategic Partnerships**: Work with a wide range of stakeholder groups, empower and provide high-level advice on a range of employee relations issues, drive resolutions and build capability.
- ** Leadership**: Oversee a high performing team recognized for their expertise and performance, allocate tasks, support workloads and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- **Innovation**: Support strategic ER related projects to strengthen workforce and organizational change, and ensure alignment with ambitious enterprise wide goals.
- **Development**: Provide specialist advice, research and support the Manager Employee Relations with employee related planning, Enterprise Bargaining formulation, union negotiations and other related tasks.
- **Technical Excellence**: As the Employee Relations SME, provide expertise across a range of people issues including bullying, harassment, discrimination, workplace investigations, brief and manage external bodies as required.
- **Management**: Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, advise on disputed matters before the courts, tribunals and commission including the Fair Work Commission, Queensland Industrial Relations Commission and Queensland Human Rights Commission.

**About You**:
Your background demonstrates an in depth knowledge of industrial relations and employment law, success in leading teams and effective business partnering in a similar, multi-site complex organization. You possess a relevant degree in industrial relations, employment law, HR or related discipline, have well developed technical, research, problem solving and communication skills, and can demonstrate success in providing high quality, contemporary employee and industrial relations advice and support.
