**The Company**:
Our client is an industry leader in providing high quality teaching and learning. A highly regarded employer, they are seeking to appoint an Employee Relations Lead to lead a team and provide specialist advice and services in the areas of employee relations and professional standards across the organisation.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Manager - Employee Relations and Student Protection, the Employee Relations Lead is responsible for:
Leading and developing a small team of ER Advisors / Specialists;
Providing advanced professional advice and supporting the development of the organisation's employee relations and professional standards strategy and operating policy, practice and procedure frameworks;
Coordinating scalable employee relations projects and programs of work including workforce and organisational change projects; and

Representing the organisation before relevant commissions, courts and tribunals, including complex case management.

**About You**:
Ideally you will have a background in Employment Law or Industrial Relations/Employee Relations in a unionised environment. You thrive in dynamic environments where no two days are the same. You have leadership experience and enjoy working in a team environment. In addition, you possess the following skills and qualifications:
Relevant degree with a major in IR, employment law, HR, or a related discipline;
Current/valid Queensland Driver's License and eligibility to work within Australia;
Eligibility to hold a Blue Card;
Demonstrated experience in an employee relations advisory role or similar, performed in a business partnering service delivery model, operating across a large defined client group;
Experience in leading negotiations and conciliations with employee organisations to resolve issues and mitigate risks for the employer, including advocacy with external tribunals;
Demonstrated success in building capability of senior leaders in managing employee relations matters throughout the employee lifecycle; and

Highly developed consultative, written, and verbal communication skills.
