**Your New Role**

As the IT/Operations Manager you will manage the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the company's growing IT infrastructure.

Some of the key tasks include:

- Manage, design, and implement the company’s IT infrastructure, including systems and networks in line with industry best practices.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring systems availability, performance, and reliability.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support for technical projects, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify technology needs, develop IT strategies, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, procedures, and security standards, including data privacy and protection.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, recommending and implementing improvements to IT infrastructure and operations.

**About You**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) are highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure and operations, preferably within a complex and distributed environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a technical team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows systems administration, networking and virtualisation technologies.
- Experience in Azure cloud technologies and managing hybrid environments.
