Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Manager to lead the smooth and efficient running of our hotel's operations, providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
  • Supervise and motivate hotel team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Lead the management of Distrikt cafe and All-Day Dining, including service, food preparation, and coffee making.
  • Take initiative to ensure guest interactions are positive and productive, resolving complaints and challenges promptly.
  • In the absence of senior management, provide leadership and guidance, maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Process and assist with check-in and check-out procedures, responding to emergency situations as needed.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in the hotel industry, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to extend support to colleagues, maintaining high levels of communication with other departments.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to navigate change and provide quick thinking solutions.
  • A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, First Aid & Food Safety Supervisor certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
