About the role

The Manage My Money and Save Value Stream in ANZ Plus has a shared mission to provide simple, beautiful experiences in our ANZ Plus mobile app. This role will support a cross functional squad to research, design, build and iterate brand new (and sometimes unexpected) features.

You will be managing business relationships with third party providers who are adding new customer features and functionality to our app. This will involve working through UI design, customer value propositions, commercial negotiations and go to market strategy

Our Journey Experts (JEs) are the heartbeat of our squads, they are more than a Business Analysts. We actively seek and will value your advice on how best to arrange work for our engineers. JEs deal with levels of complexity that require a curious mind and a customer first approach.

What will your day look like
This is a new role so no two days will be the same, carve out a niche for yourself, whilst learning from a highly knowledgeable product team.
You will help build add-ons and integrations with 3rd parties in the ANZ Plus app
Know how to effect change. Help form and manage the backlog, validate requirements, prioritise and ensure alignment to the roadmap and end to end customer journeys
Help set up and run the squad, e.g. wear the scrum master hat occasionally
Work with API and mobile software engineering teams across ANZ Plus Value Streams as well as our external vendors and 3rd party integrations
Investigate and gather technical and non-technical information on a range of topics.
Collaborate with business units and engage with customer groups to uncover and understand both stated and unstated needs. Use this to drive desirable customer experiences powered by technology solutions are elegant in their simplicity.
What will you bring?
For this role we’d love a Senior Digital BA who understands a modern software engineering culture, has worked closely with engineers and has helped define and build propositions from scratch
You’ve solved complex problems with technology solutions.
Documentation is your super power We use tools such as, Confluence, Jira, GitHub
You’ve worked with iOS and Android Engineers and have no qualms with backend teams
Experienced transformations or new digital product builds and you love the fastpaced ambiguous culture
Communication skills that get the best out of 3rd party relationships
Digitally savvy, we’re building a digital first approach to helping customers. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a technology environment that iterates on products after they go live.
