Everyday banking meets the daily banking needs for millions of Australians, helping them to pay, save, borrow, and protect what matters to them. This Journey Expert Change and Commercialisation role will assist in defining the Rewards and Offers strategy for Everyday Banking. Dynamicaly manage our EDB partners to extract value for our customers, through providing exclusive offers that enhance their banking experience and access to benefits above and beyond what is available through their EDB product.
**The role is also responsible for**:
Helping identify opportunities to utilize partner channels to reach and engage customers and interact with them in moments of truth. Leveraging the rich data held by our partners to help us refine our targeting, communications and offers.
Creating a roadmap for potential EDB partnerships that will deliver additional value for our key customer segments, meet the changing needs of our customers, and reach key segments of the market.
In partnership with the Engagement & Retention team Design, implement and manage an EDB loyalty strategy that rewards customers for their use of our products. Define the feature and capabilities required to optimize our proprietary regards program (through Ascenda) to deliver value to our customers and drive deeper engagement.
As a critical member of the Life Cycle Management leadership team, you will inspire and enable your squads to achieve their shared mission by guiding them on what to work on to achieve great customer outcomes, delivering on the EDB Partnerships plan, driving revenue growth for the business, and coordinating interdependencies between squads. You will also play an important role in collaborating with our value chain partners Digital, Marketing, Data, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Risk and ensuring close alignment and support to deliver on our objectives.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in relationship management of large-scale partnerships
Proven track record in assisting to negotiate and deliver partnership contracts
Experience in retail lending or deposit products
Leadership of complex program delivery across large-scale programs of work in a complex environment
Commercial acumen, experience working closely with operations, risk, finance and legal
Demonstrated experience working closely with senior stakeholders both internally and externally (boards and regulators)
Effective communicator, effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to success
Financial services and banking experiencing
Adept at fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment and leading, motivating and developing team members
Proficiency in effectively prioritising and allocating people and resources based on project priorities and strategic objectives
Proven expertise in managing program budgets, tracking expenses, analysing P&L statements and identifying cost-efficiency opportunities
