This is a unique opportunity to join a small family-owned business which has been operating in the residential construction industry for the last 10 years. Our focus is to have a professional but laid-back approach making the process for the client building their dream home a pleasurable experience. We ensure we have a high level of communication throughout the construction process and pride ourselves on being honest and understanding on all matters.

We are looking for someone to become part of our family, someone who is hard working, dedicated and is willing to work as a team player. This role is dynamic in that primary role is construction administrative assistant with a view to evolve to construction admin and estimating career. At a minimum we are looking for someone with 2+ years’ administration experience in construction industry.

As Construction Administrative Assistant your responsibilities will include but be not limited to;
- Reading and understanding complex working drawings and engineering
- Maintaining strong communication between clients, trades, suppliers and staff
- Preparing complete and accurate material take offs to assist onsite construction team
- Obtain quotes, ordering, and tracking of materials and components for upcoming projects
- Program tracking and updating as required
- Preparing and collating documentation for Building Permits, Occupancy Permits
- Undertaking general clerical and administrative support including maintaining office filing systems, processing and formatting documents and correspondence
- Perform general ad-hoc administrative and office support tasks as directed.

Essential Attributes and Skills for this Role:

- Good understanding and demonstrated ability to understand construction process and construction drawings
- reliable, highly motivated with good time management & organisational skills, as well as having a high attention to detail.
- works well in a team, as well as the ability to work unsupervised.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Aptitude to learn and manage changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel, Word and Outlook at an intermediate level is a must.
- Fluent in Hindi or Punjabi or Gujrati

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Truganina, VIC 3029: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Language**:

- Hindi/Punjabi (required)

- Australia (required)
