About the role
We're seeking a Marketing Automation & Strategy Manager to lead our digital-first, customer-obsessed strategy by reimagining our core customer communications and marketing activities as personalized, multi-channel journeys via Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
You'll join an innovative team who are at the forefront of leveraging marketing technology to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.
As our Marketing Automation & Strategy Manager, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities by managing our Marketing Cloud enterprise, overseeing the transition to a new Hyperforce instance, and developing best practices for customer journeys and campaigns.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Lead the design, build, and optimization of marketing automation campaigns and customer journeys using Marketing Cloud platforms.- Develop and implement strategies to improve marketing automation processes, enhancing efficiency and customer experience.- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and execute quarterly marketing plans, managing team capacity effectively.- Drive the adoption of agile principles in marketing operations and campaign delivery.- Oversee platform governance, including user management, data integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations.- Analyse campaign performance and develop robust reporting frameworks to track key metrics and ROI.- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance marketing automation capabilities and integrate with other business systems.- Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- 7+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms, including strategic direction and platform enhancement.- 5+ years of experience leading project teams and managing direct reports in a business environment.- Proven track record of creating measurable customer and business outcomes through marketing automation initiatives.-
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and advising senior stakeholders.
