This position requires an individual with an engineering qualification or verifiable industrial automation experience. Experience in troubleshooting using online PLC and SCADA tools across major platforms like Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Schneider, Omron, Mitsubishi, and more is highly desirable.

The Service Delivery Lead is a senior role that supports the state Service Manager in achieving strategic and operational objectives within the SAGE Service business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the business by assisting in the establishment and delivery of Service Projects (corrective maintenance, enhancements, and minor works) and service contract works.
  • Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of services projects and service contracts.
  • Plan, organise, and assign work.
  • Manage and review work performance.
  • Manage budgets and expenditure for assigned works.
  • Build effective customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and actively participate in the sales process and development of Service Project and Service Contract bids.
  • Deliver contracted works by developing detailed programs of work, then scheduling and assigning well-defined activities to individual resources within the service teams or external suppliers as required.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to project-assigned or dedicated teams of technicians for the delivery of engaged works.
Key Requirements:
  • Appropriate Engineering or trade qualifications or verifiable industry experience.
  • Minimum ten years proven experience within the automation industry.
  • Verifiable experience working in a project environment.
  • Experience in finance and cost management.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Australian driver's licence.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a National Police History Check & Baseline Clearance.
