SAGE Automation, a leading industrial automation and control systems integrator, is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Project Manager. With over 10 years of experience in the automation industry, you will join our dynamic Service team in Perth to deliver exceptional project outcomes to clients.

This permanent full-time role offers a competitive remuneration package, including a salary of approximately $120,000 per annum, plus benefits. As a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to develop your career into a management or project management role.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with verifiable experience working in a project environment and managing budgets. A minimum of ten years' experience within the automation industry and appropriate engineering or trade qualifications are essential.

In this role, you will oversee the delivery of a portfolio of services projects and service contracts, plan and organise work, manage and review performance, and build effective customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the business through assisting in the establishment and delivery of Service Projects (corrective maintenance, enhancements, and minor works) and service contract works.
  • Plan, organise, and assign work.
  • Manage and review work performance.
  • Manage budgets and expenditure for assigned works.
  • Build effective customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and actively participate in the sales process and development of Service Project and Service Contract bids.
  • Deliver contracted works by developing detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and scheduling activities to individual resources within the service teams or external suppliers as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian driver's licence.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a National Police History Check & Baseline Clearance.
  • Appropriate Engineering or trade qualifications or verifiable industry experience.
  • Minimum ten years proven experience within the automation industry.
  • Verifiable experience working in a project environment.
  • Experience in finance and cost management.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
