We are now seeking a dedicated and dynamic **National Workforce Rostering & Contingent Labour Manager** to lead our workforce management efforts.
Job Summary:
As our **National Workforce Rostering & Contingent Labour Manager**, you will be at the helm of workforce planning, scheduling, and contingent labour management. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring optimal staffing levels and resource allocation while integrating the latest technology solutions to drive efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an efficient rostering system that optimises staffing levels, ensuring a seamless experience while managing labour costs.
- Oversee the contingent labour program, including onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of temporary staff to meet peak demands.
- Optimise resource allocation, balancing the needs of different departments, business units and functions within the organisation
- Ensure labour practices comply with legal and industry standards, including labour laws and collective agreements.
- Use data and analytics to make informed decisions regarding workforce management and technology integration.
- Manage external relationships with labour agencies and staffing vendors to ensure the availability of contingent labour.
- Manage internal relationships with business partners and support services to ensure the delivery of workforce and recruitment forecasting
- Lead and inspire the rostering and contingent labour team, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
- Manage high quality processes to ensure accurate time and attendance reporting for payroll submission and compliance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven leadership experience in workforce rostering, labour management, and contingent labour coordination within the large-scale teams and industries
- Hospitality Industry experience is preferred
- Familiarity with workforce management software and technology solutions.
- Experience in data analysis, report generation, and the use of workforce management software is critical. This includes interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements in workforce management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in change management, including restructurings, acquisitions, or technology implementations, is valuable.
