**About the role**

We are seeking a Manager to join our accomplished Business and Private Client Advisory division, where you will manage, develop and administer a portfolio of SW clients under the direction of the Partner. This involves maintaining an appropriate level of service to clients and producing a high standard of work.

This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to further develop their career, as you will be working directly with one of our highly skilled partners, who has expertise in assisting private clients and large private family groups with all of their accounting and taxation requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop budgets, manage WIPs, and bill clients.
- Meet deadlines and provide a quality and timely service to all clients
- Liaise with clients to obtain information required to complete work in progress
- Review financial accounts, tax returns, business activity statements, instalment activity statements and other work performed by junior staff members
- Provide feedback and offer technical support to junior staff members,
- Undertake complex and/or specialised assignments, investigating issues and preparing detailed reports, highlighting implications, options, and recommendations
- Identify and develop existing and potential business opportunities for discussion with your Manager, Associate Director and Partner as appropriate

**Key Skills and Experience**:
Minimum 5 years
- experience in a Business Services environment in a Chartered/CPA accounting practice
- Degree qualified and fully qualified as a CA / CPA
- Technically proficient and demonstrate a keen interest and desire to keep updated with the latest taxation law and accounting developments
- Strong networking skills and prior experience developing good working relationships with clients
- Excellent time management skills and meeting deadlines for a large group of clients
- Demonstrate the ability to mentor, coach, motivate and manage junior members of staff
- Diplomacy skills when dealing with clients and sensitive matters
- Present professionally and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior experience working with MYOB or Reckon and competent in Microsoft Excel
