Council’s newly established Community Hubs team is a multidisciplinary team managing critical services to residents of the Kiama LGA, including Leisure Centre programs and activities, community development and capacity building, Community Halls and Facilities and the Youth Centre.

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, innovative and driven Community Hubs Coordinator to join our Community Hubs team and be part of this new and exciting journey, aspiring to be exemplar in everything we do. You will get to:

- Coordinate and supervise the Community Development team which includes the functions of:

- Community Development
- Sentral Youth Services
- Capacity Building
- Activation of Community Halls
- Provide high level support and advice to the Chief Executive Officer, Directors, and Managers in relation to area of expertise.
- Develop and lead the strategies, policies, standards, and procedures of the Community Development section.
- Promote the image of Council as being innovative in servicing the needs of the community.

**What we offer...**
- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week
- Annual salary from $88,433.28 to $104,601.64 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Plus 11% superannuation
- Mobile Phone

**What you'll need to be successful in the role...**
- Tertiary level qualifications in relevant discipline such as Social Sciences, Social Work, Community Services and or related field with at least 5 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills that promote high team performance with ability to coach, mentor and manage staff.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and interpreting policies and procedures, particularly relating to social and community services, access and equity, diversity and inclusion, and community health and well-being.
- Demonstrated experience in critical business and workflow planning
- Excellent communication, consultation, and conflict resolution skills with a strong customer focus.
