Kiama Council is currently going through a period of change and is committed to putting the right people in the right roles to transform its business.

We currently have an opportunity for a Construction Coordinator to join our team working in our Engineering and Works Department, to ensure the operation of Councils Construction section.
- Permanent full time, 38 hours per week, 9 day working fortnight
- Annual salary from $80,454.40 to $95,388.80 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- plus 10.5% superannuation
- A leaseback vehicle for operational and private use
- A mobile phone and full PPE provided

**What you'll need to be successful in the role...**
- Local Government Works Certificate or relevant Trade Certificate
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- WH&S white card
- SafeWork NSW Traffic Controller Cards:

- Traffic Controller - TC
- Implement Traffic Control Place - IMP
- Prepare a workzone traffic management plan - PWZ
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering and building plans, extracting quantities and producing estimates of costs for Council works
- Experience in the management and coordination of staff and plant including conducting performance appraisals
- A thorough knowledge of road building techniques, materials and standards
- Knowledge of building, construction and maintenance standards, codes and techniques
- Well-developed communication skills.
