We currently have an opportunity for a Tourism and Marketing Coordinator to join the team in the office of the Chief Executive Office. As the Tourism and Marketing Coordinator you will get to work as part of the Destination Kiama / Kiama Municipal Council Tourism and Events team in achieving economic and social benefits for our municipality by sustainably growing tourism and events.
- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week
- Annual salary from $73,157.76 to $87,280.44 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Plus 11% superannuation
- Phone and laptop

**What you'll need to be successful in the role...**
- A passion for tourism and marketing.
- A degree in tourism, marketing, public relations, and/or extensive experience in a relevant field.
- Experience working in destination marketing, and/or tourism industry development.
- Knowledge and experience in the planning, development and successful delivery of marketing campaigns and projects, including budget management, execution, stakeholder engagement, reporting and evaluation.
- Extensive experience with Content Management Systems for the effective creation of website, digital, social media and print content.
- Highly skilled in written communication.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and priorities in line with organisational objectives and needs
- Knowledge and understanding of the local Kiama and regional south coast tourism experiences.
- Demonstrated success in working as part of a team.
- Class C Drivers Licence.
- Willingness to conduct duties outside of core hours when required.
