**About the role**
Reporting to the Project Director within our **Telecommunications -** **Fixed Networks** team, we are seeking a **National Resource Manager **for a Permanent Full-time engagement.

In this role, you will be a key part to ensure a consistent and repeatable approach is taken across all states and enhance collaboration and sharing of information with **NBN** with a view to maximise resource utilisation across the **N2P** program.

You will work together with the Operations, Program and Project Managers to onboard, develop and train resources to be able to complete work on the N2P program as well as responding to EGM and Snr PDs initiatives and strategies.

This position can be located out of Melbourne, Sydney of Brisbane offices and can offer a flexible working environment.

**What you will be doing**
- Collaborate with NBNs RISE (Reinvigorate Industry Skills and Experience) team to ensure Ventia and our contractors can get the most out of the program
- Actively promote and demonstrate cohesion with fellow project personnel and foster a team culture of ownership and excellence in all aspects of work for a ‘best for business’ outcome
- Guide and support project teams by actively demonstrating and promoting a culture of safety, responsibility, accountability, teamwork and improvement
- Oversee the subcontractor on-boarding process to ensure subcontractors are adequately on-boarded in a timely manner prior to commencing on site
- Work with P&C to ensure new starters are on-boarded in accordance with Ventia policies and procedures and have all of their required equipment
- Actively engage with our Social Enterprise Partners to help them grow and become sustainable
- Share opportunities across all of Ventia to maximise the revenue opportunities for Social Enterprises

**About you**
Ideally you will possess relevant qualifications accompanied with extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within the Telecommunications / Construction industries.

You will also have:

- A strong experience working with sub-contractor management across a diverse range of specialist areas
- Demonstrated management and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and stakeholder engagement
