**Position Overview**:
As the Data Quality & Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of data related to our apprenticeship programs in New South Wales (NSW), Queensland (QLD), and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, monitoring data quality, and implementing measures to enhance data accuracy across various platforms.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Data Quality Assurance**:
- Implement and maintain processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of apprenticeship program data.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to identify and rectify data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address data quality issues promptly.
- **Compliance Management**:
- Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements and ensure the apprenticeship programs align with these standards.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to industry guidelines.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies as required.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of apprenticeship program data and compliance activities.
- Generate reports on data quality and compliance status for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates to management on any potential compliance issues.
- **Training and Communication**:
- Conduct training sessions for internal staff to promote awareness of data quality and compliance standards.
- Communicate effectively with apprenticeship program coordinators and other relevant teams to ensure alignment with data and compliance requirements.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Hold operational knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 (RTO Standards) in relation to student progress and data reporting.
- Ability to meet ASQA Fit & Proper persons requirements.
- Proven experience in data management, quality assurance, or compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship programs and relevant regulations in NSW, QLD, and ACT.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
