About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Better Data team at Culture Amp. As a key member of our Data Intelligence Camp, you will be responsible for enriching and curating data to build reporting and analytics capabilities for our platform.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and build of data pipelines that underpin our analytics products.
  • Ensure those pipelines are tested, performant, and observable.
  • Monitor end-user performance and optimize schemas and queries.
  • Play a key role in promoting data best practices across the team and camp, and support others to develop their knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure responsible data management in line with privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Redshift.
  • Skills in modeling and querying data in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tooling, including DBT and Airflow.
  • Desirable but not essential: experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, ideally within AWS cloud.
  • Also desirable: familiarity with AWS data tools, including Athena, Glue, SageMaker, and EMR.
