Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. They are currently looking for an experienced
**Complaints Officer** to join their team on a long-term temporary assignment for 12 months.

**About the role**:

- Managing complaints coming into the agency
- Assessing, recording, resolving and referring as required
- Managing escalated complaints and working to strict deadlines
- Drafting and sending high quality written correspondence
- Coordinating correspondence, briefing and reporting functions

**About you**:

- You will have previous experience of responding to complaints - both over the phone and written
- You will have extensive experience of dealing with escalations and associated investigations
- You will have strong communication skills - both over the phone and written
- You will have high attention to detail

**Benefits**:

- ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
- 12-month temporary assignment
- Full time hours - Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day
- Brisbane Inner-north side location
- $55.24 per hour + super
