**About the Role**:
The Curriculum Unit Project Administrator provides project support for the Curriculum Unit, and is part of a dynamic and creative team responsible for the Design and Build component of all Melbourne Polytechnic's educational offerings. This role also provides effective administrative and project support to the Curriculum Unit.

**Duties**:

- Provide administrative support for all Curriculum Unit projects in the department, including database establishment and management, organisation of meetings and events, and document preparation.
- Provide efficient use of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and video conferencing).
- Establish and maintain positive and beneficial working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and departments across the Melbourne Polytechnic network, providing high-level customer service and ensuring that all possible measures are taken to respond to their needs and requests in a timely fashion.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and record maintenance including databases, filing and archiving systems (electronic) to comply with Institute policy and procedures and external quality assurance requirements.
- Attend and participate in departmental and Institute professional development to upskill and maintain knowledge of legislative and internal processes.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Appropriate qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience in project and administrative support roles, preferably in a tertiary setting.
- Working with Children Check (Employee).
- Demonstrated high level administrative and organisational skills, including skills in document presentation, drafting and formatting, producing excel spreadsheets, database maintenance, filing and administrative systems maintenance and high-level literacy of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated ability, commitment and attitude to effective communication and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated advanced organisational and problem solving skills, the ability to be proactive, successfully arrange priorities, meet deadlines, continually improve operational strategies and be self-motivated and flexible in responding to changing work priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality.
