Lead Our Electrical and Communications Administration Division at Equans ANZ, a global leader in technical services.

Equans, a prominent provider of technical services across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally, is in search of a skilled and motivated Administration Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our Electrical and Communications division at our Fairfield office, ensuring smooth daily operations, compliance, reporting, invoicing, and general administrative tasks.

We are looking for a seasoned leader with a commitment to enhancing operational efficiency. As the Administration Manager, you will supervise the administration team, guaranteeing that essential tasks such as compliance, reporting, invoicing, and general administration are executed proficiently. While experience in multi-service, facilities management, or maintenance sectors is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the State Manager by assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective systems and processes, aligning your work with strategic, operational, and financial objectives.

Leadership and administration, including management of administrative personnel, ensuring effective service delivery to clients. Overseeing all office operations, including supplies and facility maintenance.

Enhance operational efficiency by implementing streamlined administrative processes and identifying areas for improvement. Coordinate labor and materials for projects, optimizing efficiency whenever possible.

Where appropriate, delegate tasks to Project Coordinators and assess their performance.

Facilitate the recruitment, onboarding, and training of Project Coordinators and other administrative roles.

Manage the processes necessary for supplier and technician management by overseeing the onboarding of subcontractors, suppliers, and technicians.

Financial responsibilities will include managing month-end invoicing and assisting with financial reporting. Monitor job profitability and service call backlog.

Safety and compliance responsibilities will involve assisting with Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) completion and ensuring adherence to operational policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in a leadership role. Ability to become proficient in the company's core business systems. A confident and proactive approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and technicians. Proven ability to manage competing priorities successfully. Willingness to learn multiple new computer systems/programs. Intermediate to advanced computer and MS Office skills. Experience with Great Plains is highly desirable, but not essential.
