**The Role**:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Supply Chain, Internal Services and Projects. In this role, you will lead and develop our Internal Supply Chain Services and Projects, providing strategic direction to various teams, driving cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring efficient and effective system-based activities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the Inventory, Systems, Service, and Project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain process, drive cost reduction, and enhance stock availability across the Fantastic Furniture network.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in supply chain and manufacturing, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of best practices.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners, to control costs, mitigate operational risks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of efficient inventory management systems, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and forecasting of stock levels.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve overall efficiency within the supply chain, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of supply chain operations and develop action plans to address any performance gaps.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies related to supply chain operations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, including inventory management, demand planning, and logistics operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, driving them towards achieving common goals.
- Solid understanding of change management principals and experience in building change management plans
- Deep understanding of supply chain principles, industry best practices, and emerging trends in supply chain and manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to make data-driven decisions and implement innovative solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and executing complex projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive financial performance within the supply chain function.
- Proficiency in relevant supply chain software and systems.
