**About this role**:
As the Business Development Specialist for this global architecture practice, you will be joining the Sydney office to work collaboratively with Directors to secure new project opportunities in Australia. It’s important that you have the knowledge and confidence to define and implement a new business strategic plan that will generate and increase the practices presence in the market. You will have the responsible of communicating effectively with the marketing manager to ensure all capability statements, bids and proposals are developed and prepared, ready for you to present to on-going and prospect clients.

Having been operating for over 40 years, this architecture practice is a house hold name in the industry and has built a strong international reputation. With recognisable projects across a variety of sectors, you will be able to leverage off their previous success to achieve great things in this role. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with the Global Directors to identify lines of new projects and plan for future opportunities.
- Efficiently liaise and communication with the Marketing team to develop competition statements, fee proposals and marketing collateral to present to potential clients.
- Carry out research projects focusing on market changes, sectors and client groups.
- Use your networking and client management skills to connect and establish new working relations with key decision makers.
- Be the face of the company, by representing the practice at conferences, forums and events.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 5+ years in a Business Development role in the architecture industry.
- Have knowledge and understanding of the development potential across Australia.
- Capability and confidence to network with existing and potential new clients
- Proficient user of; InDesign and Microsoft Office.
