Melbourne, Australia Businessplex Full time

Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services or new ways of reaching existing markets in Australia and New Zealand
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
- Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Think strategically by seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically by carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes
- Draw up client contracts depending on the size of company
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
- Meet performance objectives of the sales budget, focusing on gross profit, and monitor throughout the month reporting any deviations.
- Forecast sales, implement “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Maintain and expand the client database within your assigned territory.
- Work closely across departments such as Technical, Operations and Sales Support to ensure that customers are getting first-class customer service.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
