As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services to members at the Monash Crime Investigation Unit - Oakleigh, Eastern Region, Division 1.

**Your duties will include**:

- Provide general office support duties including the operation and maintenance of office equipment.
- Maintaining accountable documents including data entry, typing and word processing.
- Prepare routine correspondence on a range of administrative matters and attend to follow-up procedures.
- Assist with the processing of lost and confiscated property.
- Attend to telephone and counter enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.

**As the**successful applicant, you will have**:

- Experience in working with computers and various programs to perform a arrange of administrative tasks.
- Ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative records whilst meeting strict deadlines with a high attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work successfully within a team environment and work independently.
- Display initiative and proactive work practices.
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients both orally and in writing.

**Requirements and relevant information**:

- One (1) full time, ongoing position available, 20004582
- Position is located at the Oakleigh Police Station, 1 Atherton Road, Oakleigh. While this position will have a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.
