The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. The organisation licenses, informs and educates, monitors, and enforces the gambling industry through a risk-based approach to regulation. The opportunity
Reporting to Assistant Manager Major Licensing, this role is responsible several integral functions associated with the ongoing regulation of the gambling industry. These include the regulation of all Licensees within the gambling industry, which functions include product and system approvals, risk management and general management of licensee performance and obligations, and in particular licence conditions.
Who we are looking for.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain sound working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, in particular major gambling licensees, gaming venues, sports controlling bodies and roll listees as directed, to assist with the conduct of the Licence Management function.
- Provide required support, advice and assist with the management of key industry concerns raised by internal and external stakeholders, including the management and triaging of industry complaints and timeliness of responses by the team.
- Conduct post approval monitoring processes in relation to Sports Controlling Bodies, in line with agreed processes and procedures, to ensure obligations are met and regulatory risks appropriately managed.
