The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. The organisation licenses, informs and educates, monitors, and enforces the gambling industry through a risk-based approach to regulation. The opportunity
Reporting to Manager, Licence Management, this role is responsible for monitoring and regulation activities include stakeholder engagement, intelligence management, monitoring of regulatory obligations and risk assessment and management activities conducted by the team. The role will lead the team and assist with evaluating the regulatory approach to licence management, assurance and approval processes and contribute to the regulatory oversight of the major gambling licensees in Victoria. It will also be responsible for the assessment of contractual requirements and legislative/license obligations as well as managing the implementation of policy considerations to the team's regulatory approaches in relation to new products, processes and innovations in the gaming industry, and the overall management of complex gambling issues.

- Strong Stakeholder Management skills, be able to identify issues in common for one or more clients or stakeholders and uses them to build mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Strong Team Management skills in managing a small team, and ability to manage a diverse workload, and competing priorities.
Key responsibilities
- delivery of an end-to-end regulatory approach for wagering service providers and major licensees in Victoria that delivers the VGCCC regulatory posture, including timely and effective risk-based auditing,
- data analysis and reporting and compliance and enforcement processes that are proportionate to the risks posed and harms caused monitoring and analysing future and emerging issues and trends with the potential to impact the gambling industry and the prevalence of gambling harm, considering legislation and policy frameworks
- preparation of data reports, Commission Papers and other complex executive briefings and memoranda regulation of general gambling activities and gambling issues relating to licences, permits and approvals
