Business Operations Officer

**This role is responsible for**:
- Financial matters including budget and managing the procurement and purchasing needs of the organisation.
- Developing and implementing improvements to ICT and administrative systems, processes and policies.
- Coordinating the delivery of business, administrative and support services.
- Undertaking analysis and report on potential risks to ensure the integrity of systems and processes and mitigate risks
- Assisting with the provision of premises, office furniture, equipment and facilities to ensure the provision of a safe work environment and accommodation
- Establishing and maintaining customer relationships and collaborative networks through effective communication, negotiation and issues management.
Reporting to the Executive Officer you will be accountable for providing high level business support as part of the Operations Team. You will prioritise and coordinate workflows in a high-volume work area to meet competing demands with critical deadlines from multiple sources given conflicting priorities and rapidly changing agendas.
**About you**:
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Experience in providing high level business support services in the areas of finance, procurement, contract management, IT systems, records management and policy development.
- Excellent written and oral communication and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and effectively.
- Ability and/or experience in preparing financial and budget reports.
- A good understanding of government policy and processes.
- Capability to deliver results and meet deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
- Experience in Excel spreadsheets, SAP and Procure to Pay.
