The Role In this newly created role reporting directly to the Director, the Business Development Manager will be instrumental in driving our client's growth strategy and maximising sales opportunities in the Sydney and New South Wales Region. You will enjoy working autonomously with the support of a fantastic team. This role will see you out and about visiting potential clients within the region and the luxury of working from your home office.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Present, promote, and sell products using the consultative selling process
- Establish, maintain, and grow key clients through account management practices
- Ensure database is maintained - quotes and customer call cycles
- Keep abreast of general market trends, proposed/future developments, and industry reports
- An understanding of common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services

**What we are looking for**:

- A passionate and engaging sales professional, with proven success in both Account Management and New Business Development
- A solutions focussed collaborator who enjoys consultative selling, building relationships, and closing deals
- Results driven with a proactive approach to anticipate client needs and instinctively alter and adjust your sales and communication style

An influential negotiator with excellent stakeholder management skills
Experience within the horticulture or landscape industry sector would be highly regarded
