How you'll make an impact:
In this role you will focus on the needs of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions as well as recording, reconciling, and reporting of all financial transactions conducted through Scotpac’s wholesale funding / trust account arrangements and the interaction with operational teams.

This involves working with several stakeholders including Banks, Trustees, internal operations, sales, IT and compliance.

What you'll do:
- Management of the internal Treasury Operation services ticketing system for all internal queries related to banking.
- Monitoring and escalating Bank payment feeds to ensure all incoming and outgoing funds are processed in a timely manner
- Validation between Bank transactions and confirmation of balance feeds into core sub-ledger systems
- Manage internal fund transfers across Trust funding accounts to ensure clients collections are properly accounted for.
- Treasury and client manual payments
- Maintain the bank signatory register and add/remove bank account signatories and users
- Manage relationship with all transactional banking partners
- Open, close and novate bank accounts.
- Opening/allocate Client segment accounts
- Help Business development team with settlement queries and requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly and build strong working relationships within Finance and across stakeholder groups
- Ability to understand and improve end to end process
- Contribution to the automation / standardization of existing reporting
- Maintain and enhance the financial control environment in relation to cash, including the interaction of finance in end-to-end operational processes

What you’ll bring with you:

- 3+ years experience in a similar Operations role in the Financial Services industry or a similar corporate environment.
- Good Excel skills.
- Degree qualified CA or CPA - desirable, not critical
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- collaboration skills with ability to build good working relationships across customer base and the organisation
- Results driven mindset, with ability to take on personal challenge of driving and delivering business results and outcome
