**About the Role**:
Reporting to the National Transport Supervisor, this role will provide effective support to the National Transport Supervisor in administering land-based transport container movements, liaising between truck transport companies, rail & port terminals in Australia, including preparation & orderly filing of all relevant documentation.

**The role and responsibilities will include**:
Organize transport orders as required, utilising the Group Transport system, in a timely and efficient manner, following up to ensure that the instructions are followed and there are no issues or service failures

Co-ordination of road and rail transport jobs for containers nationally

Identify efficiencies in the transport processes and propose recommendations for continuous improvement

Administrative and general assistance to Cargo Management Operations Officers for Transhipment jobs, as required

Coordinate Rail transport movement by liaising with the shipper and rail service provider

Invoice checking and processing for rail and road Transport tasks. Thoroughly review accuracy of invoices received prior to signing off by the Transport Supervisor

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
Year 12 or equivalent

Previous experience in Intermodal Operations would be advantageous

Good computer skills with intermediate level in MS Excel

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment or independently as required

Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks

Proactive approach to problem solving
