**About the Role**
**This is a Fixed Term Position until December 2026**
The Marketing Manager for the Future Public Transport Ticketing (FPTT) System will help support the rollout of the transition to the future public transport ticketing, preparing customers for the rollout of new ways to pay and raise awareness of new ticketing features and customer benefits as they are introduced to the network. With a customer led approach, the Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring an intuitive and integrated customer experience through the development of innovative marketing strategies and effective communications. This role will lead a small team, working within the broader DTP marketing and Future Public Transport Ticketing (FPTT) team.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Marketing campaigns and initiatives that change customer and community behaviour and attitudes are developed, implemented and measured.
- The implementation of day-to-day operations for all marketing, events, design, advertising and publications is managed to ensure opportunities are proactively identified to promote key messages, programs and initiatives.
- Successful business relationships are achieved with internal and external stakeholders across the life cycle of marketing projects.
- Authoritative strategic advice on marketing, advertising and campaigns is provided to Departmental executives, Ministerial Advisers and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications and Experience**
**Mandatory**
- An appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or similar discipline.
**Desirable**
- Experience leading a small team.
**Role Specific Requirements**
- This role provides services to the Future Public Transport Ticketing project. It is expected that the person will embed within the project including attending their offices and off-site meetings as required.
