We empower our people to develop products, services and processes that deliver consistently for our partners. As a company we’re known in the industry as a group dedicated to giving back to the community by partnering with charitable groups and actively participating in fundraising events. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, Communications and Events, you’ll be collaborating with colleagues and senior leaders across DUAL ANZ and globally to deliver engaging communications. In addition to shaping our internal communications, you will also lead and support on external communications where required, acting as the ANZ PR/Media contact.

You will be part of a small and friendly Marketing & Communications team with creative vision and passion for what they do. It goes without saying that you will be a natural communicator with excellent creative and copywriting skills. You will already have experience of communicating using a range of channels, and at all levels of an organisation.

- Coordinate press release creation and distribution regarding new product launches or business acquisitions, liaising with teams and media contacts for timely and impactful communication.
- Manage internal events as required, ensuring seamless execution.
- Lead in crafting and maintaining a content schedule across all communication channels, striving to enhance colleague engagement.
- Support DUAL’s employee resource groups in the delivery of communications content and initiatives.
- Develop innovative concepts and propose new content delivery methods, including the use of videos and graphics, while staying across the latest digital communication trends.
- Partner with our internal design team to articulate effective creative briefs that align with communication objectives.
- Report on the performance of digital channels/activities utilising data insights to inform future activities.
- Act as a trusted communications advisor for internal stakeholders, offering expertise and guidance in various communication needs.
- As we are a small team you will be involved in all aspects of projects and initiatives from admin tasks to delivering events.

About You

This role is ideal for an experienced senior communications professional who is passionate about effective messaging and has exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills. As Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing communication strategies across various platforms. As this role works closely with our group business in addition to supporting our CEO and Executive Team on communication initiatives and needs, you will have confidence in engaging with senior level stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent skills in copywriting, adept at tailoring content to suit diverse audience needs.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a good grasp of grammar and strong proof-reading skills.
- Possess active listening and influencing capabilities to effectively engage stakeholders.
- Good creative and lateral thinking, combined with imaginative problem-solving skills. You will have opportunities to lead and contribute to diverse projects, so you will be comfortable using your initiative when needed.
