**Your impact**

The Partnerships team at Weel is dedicated to supporting and driving growth within our partner ecosystem.

You will identify, build, nurture and grow the Accounting and Bookkeeper channel specifically, defining the strategy for these partners, and working with cross-functional team members to execute on that strategy.

Tasked with the goal of elevating Weel's brand presence and increasing our Australian market share via collaboration with partners, we're seeking an individual who is both proactive and strategic in nature.

A consultative mindset with a strong sense of accountability will be essential, along with great listening skills and a drive to forge authentic relationships will be key.

**More on the role**:

- Support in the build and management of a partnership program that achieves our goals, while always supporting theirs.
- Efficiently manage your partner portfolio by categorising and prioritising both new and existing accounting and bookkeeping partners
- Collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders, serving as an advocate for your partners
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, partnerships and activities
- Establish yourself as Weel's ambassador amongst partners, attending industry roadshows and events and encouraging partner participation to help create a vibrant community
- Stay up-to-date with Weel's features and functionality, knowledge is power

**Skills you'll bring along**
- Experience selling into referral partner channels (accounting and bookkeeping partners preferable, not essential)
- Experience generating new partner opportunities and nurturing existing Partner relationships
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build genuine rapport with partners, influencing their decision making to advance our goals
- Strong attention to detail and a talent for follow-up, ensuring that no opportunity is missed when building and maintaining partner relationships
- A consultative approach to sales, with a proven ability to guide and educate partners to recognise and achieve their business goals
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a process-driven mindset and a hunger for taking ownership and managing your book of partners
- An interest in the emerging online accounting market, with a solid understanding of database management
- A passion for delivering results through a consultative, customer-centric approach, and a commitment to building lasting relationships with partners

**Bonus Points**
- Experience within public practice accounting firms and/ or in the Xero app ecosystem
- You were an accountant in your previous life and have strong networks across the industry
- Experience creating and attending industry events to support revenue goals
